Tomorrow i'm doing my third shoot for fyndle, and i hope i can pose properly and pix will turn out well. Have i mentioned that fyndle's owner, tiffany, is really nice? I like her (:

Anyways, today daniel popped out at my place and gave me a big long hug. It's been what seemed forever since i last saw him. I think it was tuesday? And boy, we miss each other so much. I got off the phone with my supplier soon after d came in, and just tiptoe to plant a kiss on him and embraced him for so long. Yes, i miss him... so much. We had a simple day together, i was just sitting on him on my couch and we just looked at each other and talked the whole day, had lunch together at the coffeeshop near my place, and went back to my place to sleep. Even though he was right beside me, i was waiting him to sleep first so i could hear his snore and think about him to sleep. Midway sleeping, i felt him stroking my shoulders and went back to sleep. Now, he's out with his sec schoolmates while i stay home to recuperate. Oh, the fever please go away.

I am currently on a mission to curb my nasty temper and be a happier person. I've been angsty lately, for the past few months or maybe a year. My temper got a lot worse, like a lot. I've become a lot more cynical and judgemental, sad and regretful to say. And i've become a lot more skeptical in friendships, which i won't conclude as a bad things. We fall, and we learn. That's life, it's never pretty and sweet all the time. Today is day #2 of curbing temper, and it's been going extremely well. Mm it's too early for substantial results, but i dare say i'm happier like that.

And one good way to end my night is a message from vera bby.

Vera, fiona, kirk. These three are currently and has always been my happy pills. True friends, and that's what i want. As for another close friend, i'm just waiting for us to make things better. Above all, i love y'all.

Happy birthday, me.

I'd always wanted simple birthdays, simple yet expressive cards, gifts that holds a meaning and not value. No one really understands why, but thank god daniel does after explaining to him. I shall share here why i don't want/appreciate lavish birthday parties and expensive gifts.

1. It's the thought that counts. [for friends, and somewhat good friends]

As cliche as this may sound, it's very true. If we are just friends or somewhat good friends, it would mean just enough for you to remember my birthday and wish me through sms, and maybe throw in a sweet little message. If you(good friends that is) can't even wish me, it shows how good a friend you are. To even know that you remember and bothered to whip out your phone to wish me, is a job done for me.

2. Time [ for close friends, and bestfriend]

These people are the closest friends i have, and again i don't need any material gifts. I just want to spend time with my close friends, have a little dinner or something. Just time. But i won't appreciate it if you're using i.e my birthday party to socialise or something.

I'd very much prefer diy cards, self baked cakes to premade cards. It just shows me a lot more.

3. Just wish me and show me you love me [family]

To me, it's very important that my family remembers my birthday and just wish me. And show me you love me, like this year, my sister made me a cake. I don't ask for anything materialistic from my family at all although they are the ones who can afford the most for the things i want. This year, i wasn't home for a few days for my birthday and mummy didn't text me happy birthday at all so i got really sad on the way home. When i got home, i saw a red packet on my dressing table and it says

"happy birthday kaykay, love mummy"

I was happy to tears because i'm really glad my mum remembers(she kinda forgot my birthday last year so it means a lot to me this year if she even remembers). I wasn't happy because she gave me money, but simply because she remembers. I really don't care the amount in the red packet. Be it $1000, $100 or even $10, i will be equally contented.

4. Love me and spend alone time with me [boyfriend]

I had came to realisation a few years back that oddly, the one thing that i must have with my boyfriend on my birthday, is a birthday dinner with just him. And again, i'll say no to any materialistic gifts. This year, it came stronger than ever before. I told D to not get me anything at all cos materialistic things will really just be part of all the materialistic things i already have. What? Get me clothes, accessories, bags, shoes, wallet which i can get it myself? What meaning does that materialistic gift holds after some time? It will just be part of my 'collection of bags' no?

D knows what matters most to me, and he executed it perfectly well to make me happy. You shall see more belowww (:

10th july - 11th july

Spent some time with my close friends and other friends at zouk. I kinda wish i didn't spend it at zouk, and i know i most likely never will want to but because this is kinda the only place to get all my close friends together. Thank you for spending time with me, you kitties who were there.

Headed back to daniel's house with him after clubbing.

And his first surprise for me is

oreo cheesecake he baked

and big cards he made with photos.

It may not mean anything to any of you, but it means a great deal to me. Many of you don't know daniel well enough but i do which is why i appreciate these things he does for me. He isn't the kinda guy who'd get down to work in the kitchen or to any diy stuff. In fact, how many guys do you know who actually does that. The effort that he put in the buy the ingredients for the cake in the supermarket, the afternoon he spent to make the cake, and others. It is very unlike him to do such things, super unlike. The fact that he remembers i like oreo cheesecake and handmade cards and got down to doing it just makes me appreciate him so much more.

I kinda knew that i was gonna have oreo cheesecake for my birthday but i thought he'd have bought it instead of making it.

I love you daniel, and this may seem like an overreaction to you but trust me, i appreciate it alot.

Surprise from my friends, which kinda flopped because i'm too smart at guessing. Haha kidding, but it's really hard for me to get surprised.

Kirk twin, you're another gem to me. and i love you. i'll be here for you like how you always have been there for me.

That night, he stayed over at my place. And the next day, he brought me to donna carmella for my birthday dinner(:

they serve fine italian food. The pasta didn't wow me, but i sure loved the soup and salad. Oh, not to mention the ambience!

I was pestering him to go island creamery cos i was craving for their nutella ice cream. Heheh, after that we went back to my place to grab my clothes and we cabbed down to his place. Yes, i stayed over at his place that night again. Hahah.

When i was lying dead like a log on his bed at 8am, he woke me up to tell me that he's going to school for his attachment and gave me a kiss on my forehead. I woke up and walked him to his door, gave him a long tight hug in my most sleepiest mode ever.

You see, these are the things i enjoy the most. For 4 days 3 nights, i have you by my side to sleep and to wake up to. Almost everynight, i will pat him and talk him to sleep and every morning, i will be awoken with a kiss on my forehead and a pair of beautiful eyes looking at me arise, embracing my morning in the most wonderful way ever. Just being able to spend 4 days with you can be a great birthday itself. I love you, and you wonder what my birthday wish was about. You say you don't believe in birthday wishes, i don't too but i will take any chance for us to last.

Of course, my wish wasn't just about him. I got a little greedy with god, and made two wishes. One about him, and another about my loved ones.

I won't say this birthday was the best out of every others but this birthday made me see a lot of things i need to see. Reality and truth slapped me hard in my face on my 19th, but now that i'm a year older i will deal with this truth with courage and strength.

All i can say is, i don't want to waste time on people/things who don't even bother.

Some things i can salvage for old times sake, but for others i am willing to let go simply because i don't see genuinity in you or our friendships.

Thursday was my I&E project day in school, so we had to sell mainly brand new havaianas! it's pretty coool and business was good (Y). thank you to those who came down(:

It was pretty fun at first, but it just got mad hot and tiring after noon.

K so that was pretty much my thurs. Yesterday i went to buy stocks for juicemarket but there's hardly any nice stuff so i have to go somewhere else later to hunt! Headed to D's school for lunch and then to his place to crash. Now, we really treasure each day we get to spend together because his attachment plus my other school/work commitments are draining out time and energy out. So yesterday was definitely a day well spent. We crashed for 3 hours straight, had dinner at his place, sat at his sunken lounge to chitty chitty bang bang for 2 hours. There's something about us when we are together i can't describe. Everything else but him seems like a blur when i'm with him.

And i told him that, it's pretty important to have someone whose face you like. No, i'm not talking about finding or having a handsome boyfriend or pretty/hot girlfriend. I don't believe in that. Looks were never really important to me since long time ago. What i mean is, a face you like. I've found it, and i realise even more how important it really is. It makes me stare in admiration for seconds/minutes. It still looks pleasantly nice to me even when his hair's in a mess after soccer or gyming, or when he wakes up look groggy. It's still the face i like. Of course, deep within and beneath, there are more important things like our chemistry and his character.

Oh wells.

Anyways i'm meeting cailing soon for lunch +stock shopping + own shopping. Then i'mma head home to study while she works, and meet her and other friends again tonight to party. It's beeen supah long since i zouked and i can't wait to see all my close friends! yummerz.

Tmr's my birthday, and i really don't feel anything at all. In fact, ever since i was 15(?), i totally stopped getting excited over my own birthday already. Hahah. But i'm just excited to spend the day with D tmr. My wish list/ present list for my birthday : none. I don't need any material gifts from friends or family cos i prefer getting them myself. It'd be just fine if yall wish me, write me a card with messages inside, and for me to spend some time or have dinner with close friends. And, i really wish this time my mum will remember my birthday cos she forgot last year :x

Hahahah check out the title of this post. Yes wazzzup i haven't brushed my teeth ever since i got up about an hour ago cos i'm very lazy. Yes yes point finger and cover nose at me fo all you want. I shall brush later when i feel like it hehehehehe maybe when i'm ready for all the durians at home.

Hahah i'm going to the doctors later to get my mc. imagine i tell him i got sore throat, and i have to say 'ahhhhh' while he sticks his ice cream stick into my mouth. oooo lala i think my breath will kill him (that's if i don't brush my teeth WHICH I DEFINITELY WILL BRUSH LATER BEFORE GOING OUT). Hahaha it's just a thought oh wells.

Yesterday, i went to daniel's after not seeing each other for 3 long days. Had dinner at his house, his mummy cooked fried rice then talked to his family for 2 hours. After that, both of us went out to have our second dinner at fat boys. He's been wanting to eat there for 8 months already, but never really had a chance or time to.

do you know how much you're hurting me. no you absolutely have no idea. i couldn't stop thinking about you for the past few days and everything that we had been through and now you wonder why? am i talking about you?

all the promises we made, the pact we had, the ups and downs we had been through together, memories of you and me, all of it is forming tears in my eyes. it hurts, because i care. no don't tell me you care, maybe you do, but i know fo sure not as much as i do. because action speaks louder than words. the word i've been waiting for, constantly checking my mails for something from you, all my efforts were futile. you and me, we've come to naught after all the things we have been through. please don't tell me time will tell and heal, because time has its side effects.

i can't help flippin' through the pages of our lives being intertwined. nothing was forever except for you and i, i thought. but you had to make me lose my last inch of belief in forever. Sorry but i feel so sorry for myself now, because i've given so much to you all these years and what i'm getting is this. I loved you so freaking much and it always hurt me when someone hurt you. you were one of the few i cried for just listening to how sad you were with certain things. i really thought we were divine, and different but you prove me wrong.

you told me one reason for leaving me, but you didn't tell me another main reason. that's unfair because i've been so honest with you all my life. No matter what you do, even if it got me hurt, i supported you all the way. Now, you're just tearing me apart. I don't blame you for making that choice, but i can almost hate you for not telling me the other reason why you chose this path. Hahah I'm blogging with my blackberry for the first time! I'm in bus 157 now on the way to daniel's house! We're gonna cycle later and have fat boys(aptly named after daniel hahaha) after that. I'm so hungry I haven't ate anything for the whole day. I can totally eat myself up now. Hah.

Omg I had two very weird dreams last night.
1. I dreamt an animal version of dota. My dogs were so cute and tiny but they had no stamina. Were they the sentinel? I can't remember. Actually I can't even remember much of dota terms cos its been 2 or 3 years since I played. Haha. So anyways I had to click around to make my dogs run to its destination. They were almost as powerful as lightning revenent, but their stamina is damn bad and they had really short legs so we lost ):

2. I dreamt of how pigs were processed into pork together with corn! Ahhhh yes omg ): I had to kill the pigs and process them into pork. What's scary is that they became pig ghost and haunted me. Oh the horror!! This isn't the first time I dreamt of pigs going after me I swear. The first time was last year when I dreamt that I was at a charsiew stall and I saw roasted pigs hanging at the stall front. Suddenly one of them just kept begging me to help them to break free from the charsiew uncle. I refused and they suddenly got off the hook to chase after me.

Hahahah retarded and scary dreams. I don't really like seeing roasted pork anymore! But I still like eating charsiew. Haha.

Anyways daniel and I have been so busy for the past whole week that we barely had time to even meet. So fri night he stayed over at my place. Both of us were mad tired cos I was working for 11hours before that and he had attachment. So I knocked out flat on my bed when we went to sleep. suddenly when I was sleeping, I felt him stroking my face and hair, and kissing me so I turned around and asked why isn't he sleeping yet.

He answered ' I just love you so much I can't stop kissing you. '
(: I was too tired to give a nice little reaction so I just told him that I love him too and to go and sleep. But deep down inside I know it was an instant meltdown and I was so touched and happy!

EVERYTHING WITH FRIES.

[SUN, 20 JUNE]

Last night was kinda like an impromptu supper with vera, daniel and charmaine at hollandv everything with fries! whoop i got 2o% off for being an awfully chocolate staff! how nice. as i mentioned earlier, food there is pretty average. There are only two things i'd recommend and that's the skinny wings and one egg soup(high recommended!). Om nom nom i'm definitely going back there for the soupppy.

D and i also went for a swim before dinner. It felt so refreshing and fun cos it was our first swim together! If you consider 50m lap of swimming as one, then yes we did. but it was the crazy wave pool, him trying to hang onto my float while i'm it, him pushing me along the lazy river, parallel talks we had at the poolside, laughing at a boy who found a soaked $10 note in the jacuzzi pool and fervently lifting his hands up to dry his precious note, him protecting me from all the lao ti ko, spitting water on each other, me blowing my nose and wiping my mucus on him(hehehehe i'm very gross and i am not like how you guys think i am), and we trying to drown each other in the 1.8m pool that made the mundane afternoon a splendid one.

I had always wanted daniel to try this peranakan restaurant that's somewhere hidden in binjai(yes, reminds you of some vege or ninja turtle no?!) park. They have really nice food at a super affordable price. D didn't dig it much though, but i am still pretty much in love with the food and price here.

We then walked to sixth avenue for some durian strudel. om nom nom! it's such a pity that daniel's not a fan of singapore's greatest fruit so i had one durian strudel for myself. hehe not too bad either ^^

OK YES ANOTHER FOOD DAY, SORRY. HAHAH I'M A FOODIE AND I LIVE FOR FOOD. YES AND AMEN!

I remember that during my bangkok trip with D in april, he was always bugging me to go fo hotel breakfast with him even though it sucked and that's because he's a breakfast boy and he loves american breakfast. What a gem i've found(: Not that i can wake up for breakfast, but i like the whole idea of having breakfast/brunch with your loved ones in bed or in a laidback little cafe. What a great way to start your day right?

And that particular sunday was one day before his attachment started so we wanted to spend one whole day together.

We're gonna conquer many many breakfast/brunch cafes or restaurants in singapore. I want juicemarket to do well, earn more from awfully.c and my other modelling job(shall talk about it later) and make it a point to treat my boy to brunch at least once or twice a month. Don't roll your eyeballs at me and go like huh brunch also need to save money?! That's because i'm a changed girl ever since i got together with daniel.

I used to be quite a spendthrift and never wanted to work for others because of my nasty experience at candle boutique. So no matter how high paying a job offer i had (like those $10/hr kind), i still won't take it because i just don't like being bossed around. Although i was still spending my own money, i didnt really made an effort to save up for my future. I just spent a shit load on cabs, food, shopping and travel. I know girls are like that and i'm not saying there's anything wrong with it cos as long as we maintain ourselves, no one really have the right to control the way we spend right? Yes, that's still true.

But now, i want to make sure my future is secure. I don't want to be a penniless bitch, neither do i want to just marry a rich guy whom i don't really love just to ensure i have a stable/luxurious life. I want to earn every penny myself now and build my own future. I am not the submissive kinda girl, neither do i believe in guys supporting the family. It takes two to clap. or rather, the more successful one initiates even if it's the girl. I know it's absurd to some of you to think of the future at this age now, but i'm a kanjiong spider. i'm scared. haha. so i am starting to thrift more, save more, spend less and work if i can. There are so many ways to love daniel, and one of the things i want to do is just to bring him for nice breakfasts. We give and take, i'm not saying i'm the only one doing things for him. He has done alot alot for me too (:

This blog post is somewhat inspired by him because i've been wanting to write something about him or us for 3 nights already but i just didnt get down to it. Do you know you're so wonderful daniel? Thank you for all the times you overcame your exhaustion after gymming or attachment to meet me for dinner, and for the times you woke up in the middle of the night to talk to me because i'm scared. Y'know what's one of the things that you did recently which i appreciate the most. That is the night which you were really really dying of fatigue, you picked up my call at 6am out of your sweet dream to talk to me when my account just got hacked. When i was insane and over thinking that the hacker would harm me in some ways i couldn't get to sleep at all, you let me cab down to your place at after dawn so i could find some security.

You crawled out of your bed, looking all morning-ish groggy, opened the gate for me and hugged me and put me to sleep and said ' don't be scared kay kay, i'm here' repetitively. Then you pushed aside your pre-planned plans for the day to accompany me. How can i not be thankful?

I told you we fit each other perfectly well like a puzzle. It doesn't matter how others look at me, at you or at us because they can't fit us like how we do. My flaws are flaws in people's eyes but they are flaws which you can tolerate easily. You strength may be just strength to others, but it's more than just normal strength, it's your charisma. Vice versa. The chemistry that you and i have is beyond comprehension. I'm not talking about getting electrocuted in the eyes. We know those are just fairytales. I'm talking about the endless topics we have, the laughter we bring to each other, how you think i'm cute and silly but no one else sees it, and like how cute and charismatic i think you are, which some others may not see it too. The dreams and goals we pursue, our personality, our food likes. You may not realise it, but we're influencing each other so much we're probably switching roles already. You know the ways i've influenced you, and you know too the way you've changed me, and we're just getting closer and closer to being something even more compatible.

Quarrels and petty bickers we have, but we know they never fail to make us stronger and make us realise how much we love each other, how much we don't wanna lose this to something so worthless compared to what we have.
Till the day i'm with you, i'll always remember something you said to me and that is

' we quarrel not because we dislike each other, but because we love one another too much that we're caring too much and it's affecting us so much.'

i love you so much daniel, and i can't ask for more.

Sorry for the long hiatus! It's been almost a month since i updated this space. Heh i've just been lazy and busy. I can't remember every event so i'll just caption whatever there is.

This was at daniel's classmate's party at .... east coast. so damn far! D stayed over at my place after that(:

I'm in the midst of my term tests now, and i'm kinda drained from studying and not being able to spend proper time with my friends and daniel. Friday and it'll be over, and it'll be time for my sweet revenge. Gonna make my two weeks break a productive one! I'm trying to update juicemarket more often and it's kinda picking up already. Next collection will most likely be up next tues. I've also started work at awfully chocolate cos i love chocolates! It's also to feed my savings and spendings. I just have this sudden urge to make my bank account multiply. I don't want to keep saving for a trip and poof, all the money gone in that 5 days trip and then having to save up another $xxxx for this or that.

Besides, my future seems so bleak and unsure all of a sudden. I've reached this point of life i feel that we should start realising our goals and dreams, and not just sit there and say we're young cos we're never too young to do anything. We will only be too old to fulfil some golden dreams. So, i don't want to waste my youth away. I want to materialise the fact that i left college for a better cause, and be a dream catcher.

Right now,

start small, think big, give my all.

Went to town with sis last night to find mum and we had dinner at watami. Yesterday was a happy day cos i met kirk twin to chill(after like what, 2 months??) and vera + angelyn for dinner! It'd be perfect if nana was there too!

Anyways, met kirk at pines to study while he swims! Had some food and drinks there, played his iphone games and lepaked. Had dinner#1 at cafe tivoli, then headed to town to meet angel and vera for dinner#2 at crystal jade. haha what a pig right. ate so much yesterday! Had my favourite roadside $1 traditional ice cream cone too!

I hate it a lot when people get fake and chummy with me when actually they do that with the whole world. Say things like "you're the bestest friend i have", "you're such a baby/you're my baby" etc etc when you actually don't even mean half of it. It's disgusting. I'd rather people don't say such things to me. You may not be exactly fake with me, like you may not dislike me but you don't like me as much for you to spill such mushy words. I'm nobody's bestfriend except for one. Nobody's my bby except for the few like fiona, vera, cailing. (angelyn's still a good friend, just that we hardly get to meet up :<)
Seriously, that's 1, and spare me.

2. Don't act all cool/hip & happening. Don't use words that people deem cool when in fact it's not the way you usually speak. Don't dress/behave to blend into crowds to feel like you're a part of them cos, you don't blend into a crowd. Right crowds will naturally pull you in without having you to try so hard. Don't curse and swear cos you think that's so fetch. I think that's very pre-school. Worse of all, you don't befriend someone and try to reap benefit out of it(fame especially) . Major turn off right there.

Oh and a facebook whore. Don't add the whole world please, seriously that just makes me think you're the biggest loser on earth. Adding people you don't know, adding people you've never talked to, adding your friend's friend(so what if they're your friend's friend? are they your friend? unless otherwise of course) and the list goes on. Basically, people who are ready to lay off half the day searching for some kinda possible links and connections to fb add a person. People who wants to make the fb friend list xxxx , and end up not knowing half the people in their own FRIEND(it's called friend list for a reason) list.

4, if you think you're bloody smart and bring people down, up yours.
cos there'll always be people smarter than you pricks. i hope your brain acidifies and rots every second you bring someone down.

Went over to D's place yesterday after piano lesson and he made lunch for me. It was meant to be a surprise but that silly boy left "how to make spaghetti" on his fav bar when i was using his laptop last week, so yes i burst my own bubble.

Still, it was sweet enough for him to want to do something for me. To me, it means a lot when someone does something he doesn't usually do for me. For him, that's cooking. Cooking something that's not instant, and cooking something that i like. It was even a joy for me to see him making blunders while preparing the food like not being able to crack an egg and keeping just the yolk properly, taking out his entire selection of knives at home just to slice bacon when a scissors could have done an easier job, and panicking when the ends of the pasta got burnt etc etc. I'm not gloating at your mistakes, but i'm touched that you persisted making a real authentic carbonara without cutting short of every step despite the blunders.

I was really impressed cos
1stly. i like cooking and i do cook carbonara but even i do the instant cream ones but he totally blew my mind with this self made sauce using a few ingredients.
2ndly. this coming from a guy, need i say more??
3rdly. It's his first time making pasta and this wasn't substandard at all!

Wednesday was spent at my place with D too. He came over early in the morning at 8ish and we had macs breakfast. Headed back to my place to crash, and he helped me with juicemarket website after that!

It was good two days spent with D and honestly, i can't be thankful enough to have him now.

I'm not the kinda person who perspires a lot or easily but yesterday was just massively/insanely/disgustingly humid and warm, no? Singapore just felt like an overheated oven yesterday and we're the poor little burnt cuppycakes with melted icing all over. I was stupid enough to wear the wrong outfit out somemore.

Inner black tank top with oversized washed denim shirt, denim shorts with hearts all over leggings and vans. It was a lovely outfit i like it but i wished the weather played along so i could stay in those fabrics longer so i can snap some pictures with it but no, i started shredding off layer by layer until i was left with just a tank top, denim shorts and vans.

Anws, headed over to wk's house and i brought my sister's camera out and was hoping i could snap some pictures of the boys swimming. It'd be nice yknow, nice infinity like pool with boys splashing in and out of it, and also genuine smiles captured without their knowledge.

My first time wearing the aviators mummy gave to me. Few weeks back she came to me with like 6 pair of shades? All gucci chanel prada all, but all damn ugly like for people to wear in the 80s to match with bell bottoms and brocolli hair(MY DAD HAD IT BY THE WAY, HIS STYLE HAHAH). Then i was thinking why did such good brands even design such queer designs? Hahah so anyways, i picked the brandless aviator(ok idk if it's branded cos it only says 'japan icon' at the sides but it doesn't matter luh at least it beats all the branded ones hands down legs down).

Then my mum was like 'you don't want the rest? then i throw away already k' . I was like waaa why so waste??? you're throwing away money eh, although i don't think even you'd wear them. Then she told me it's ok cos those shades are my grandpa's one and he doesn't want it anymore. Ya i think she said grandpa.

AND INSTANTLY I SAW THE LIGHT. NO WONDER THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE MADE TO MATCH BELL BOTTOMS AND BROCOLLI HAIR.

Heh anyways, met parents at isetan and we headed home together. Made it a point to have dinner with my parents at home last night cos i'm rarely home for dinner. But just when i am home for dinner for some homecooked food, papy wants to eat at the nearby hawker cos he doesn't like the dishes mummy was cooking. So weird uh, my mum cooked for the family but my dad is so picky that he doesn't wanna eat japanese brown rice, cod fish, celery, and laksa sauced chicken. So much for my family dinner. Hhah.

We need a repeat of the past week's event. I can't ask for anything more than just 5 days straight with you, just us on a foreign land. There'll be a 2nd,3rd,4th etc etc right! Day 1.

Papy fetched me to the airport, and Daniel and i had breakfast with his parents there. Thereafter, we boarded the small budget jetstar plane at 7.15am! Off we go up up and away from singapore ^^

We were greeted by flocks of red shirt when we arrived bangkok. We thought our lives were at stakes at first, but the red shirt thingum isn't as life threatening as it seems to be, much less what the news exaggerate it to be.
Put out luggage down in room #1604 in first house hotel and we headed to platinum foodcourt for lunch where D left his retainers. Tuktuk-ed down to chatuchak mkt and shopped after that!

Didnt take alot of photos at JJ cos we were busy shopping. Went back to the hotel to freshen up and put down our stuff, then headed to the roadside stall near our hotel for some fried rice luvin'

Day 2.

Hotel breakfast(yuckz for me), then headed to JJ again. Hahaha shopping paradise for daniel, but not so much for me. The stuff this time just didn't appeal to me much :/

Day 3

missed our hotel breakfast cos i overslept. haha i didn't mind at all cos i don't like the hotel food but daniel liked it. Brought him to A&W instead to make up for it, and we shopped at platinum after that(which was v v v disappointing too). We were sliding past shops and i just couldn;t wait to go to the top level to shop for bags and shoes butzzz.... fugly.

Rested at swensens with cheapsy ice cream after shopping. chocolate ice cream with cookies&cream, malteser(sp?)

night time saw us at suan lum night bazaar. Quaint and nice yet expensive place, so we only left with a blue and black casio watch. Next was at saladaeng sipping on roadside stall soup and noodles (: i was dying to have coffee since day 1, and i really couldn't take it on day 3 so we headed to secret recipe and i got my ice blended cappaucino. Sigh to my caffeine addiction.

Can't really remember where we went in the day but night time was spent at khaosan road (: kinda like that place too. luv the food too.

Day 5

Made an effort to wake up promptly so D can enjoy his last american breakfast before we checked out.

Headed to central ladpraw(sp?) to shop and we got our vans each (:

hehe wearing the cap that D was hunting up and down for.

Went back to baiyoke sky for high tea buffet. Basically we had to pay 300baht(approx 12$) and we're suppose to fill up the big box given to us with any food we want from the cafe then we get to dine at the observatory deck(83rd floor which is prolly the high landmark in thailand cos baiyoke sky is the tallest hotel in thailand).

Then, we went up to the 84th floor which is the 360degree revolving deck to catch a glimpse of the breathtaking view of bangkok.

& we managed to catch the sunset together, our very first one. and i think it's probably my first with anyone. i really loved the moment we spent on the revolving deck.

Cabbed to the airport after that, which took us an hour cos of the red shirt and jam. Yezza, up up and away... bye bangkok!

This trip is awesome, and i swear i need a repeat of it.

Met my babies on fri night to celebrate angel's birthday (: Like i said, i love spending time with y'all and i definitely luv y'all a hell lot.

D and i are leaving for bkk in about 17 hours' time but i haven't packed my luggage yet! :x actually we have nothing much to bring there, just undergarments and 2 sets of clothes. Heheh other than that, i'm mega excitedddd ^^ i can't wait to shopppp and eat(mega omg), and spend time with him. 5 days away from everyone and everything (Y). Yesterday saw us chilling at home with oven heated rich chocolate muffin, surfing facebook together and a quick dress up to hit to town. It's not noticeable in photos but i had a case of swollen eyes due to some weird eye infection which happens very often to my sister and i, so i didn't really wanna worsen it with eyeliner... so i just stuck those fake eyelashes with a super thin line of glue together with red lipstick and a thin layer of foundation[which kinda made me a little too whitein pictures esp in the 1st one]. Slipped into my 14$ maxi dress and brown havaianas, pulled my plaited hair across my forehead, +3rings, 1 necklace and we left my place in 502 double decker.

We had dinner in ps ichiban sushi with mummy's vouchers and were in comtemplation if we should catch a late movie. Last night, the whole stretch of orchard road was filled with street performance and charity donations. Honestly, it kinda pissed me off mildly cos the street performances were more of substandard filler than anything. And for those "charity donations" who won't stop following your back after walking 7 metres with you, considering that half of them are scammers(one of my friends just got scammed yesterday fyi, and i have friends' friends who are such scammers) just put me off endlessly. Anyhows, met jiayi and milton for a while to catch up and it's always a joy to see that bubbly girl(: Daniel and i ended the night with the $1 traditonal cone alongside with silly games like the-15th-person-who-walks-pass-will-be-how-your-future-spouse-looks-like. Hahah, try that with your friends or something. I swear yall will crack up at the kinda "husbands/wives" yall will be getting.

On a super random note, i've decided to keep my hair a tad longer and dye it reddish brown sometime soon and get bangs or sideswept bangs. Once my bangs grow out, i will keep super long fringe with long long thick straighter hair and maybe try a different colour after that! (: Grow grow grow hair!!!

Gotta work later from 7pm-12am ): but can't wait to see dear veraaaaa!

i fainted in my kitchen today, like a real unconscious thing. Thank god mummy was at home, if not i could have --------- or something. it's very scary, yet funny. I didn't even know i was unconscious, it just felt like i was in another world(very very messy and scary world with lots of cars hurling at me, weird beings hovering around me). I didn't felt the need to wake up cos i didn't even know i was in unconscious state. So imagine, no one being there i could have been lying on the floor trembling like a dog for the whole day. Everything happened within 2 mins, and i swear it felt like forever. Mummy shook me and held me to wake me up, and i got awoken by her calling me. The first thing i said was "what am i doing here, i thought i was at the sofa. i want to sleep". I couldn't recall anything that happened after i got up from the sofa until after a few minutes. Sighhh, i didn't know fever can cause people to faint.

Oh wells, it was really damn scary and i don't want it to happen again. And yknow what, life's really unpredictable so live everyday like it's the last. Thank you daniel, for putting other things aside and coming to nurse me again. I really wanna get well soon so i can go out to do many thingsss! Besides, i'm leaving for bangkok in 8 days' time so i neeed to recuperate now! Working tomorrow from 8.30pm-1.30am, hope i don't faint or anything :x keep me in your prayers earthlings, and you guys take care too!

Went to find vera at tea party on her first day of work(on my off day haha so i spent 4 days straight there)!(:

Past few days were spent at tea party working and accompanying vera at work. Today was my off day, so i went down to D's house to "nurse" that sick boy. Then, we headed down to tea party to give vera moral support on her first day of work. Yayyyy, i hope we get to work together sooonzzz :D anyways, chittyx2 bangx2 with D, aglio olio+choco chip scones for dinner(:

I'll be there again tomorrow -.- my fifth day in a row.

zee and daniel should be coming downnnnnnnnn so yay, i won't be so bored.

So, what do y'all do when you're all alone at home for one whole day? Hungry, bored and angsty. Hahah share with me, so next time i have new ideas to kill boredom when i'm bored at home!!

Here's my day ok.

Woke up. Brush teeth. Reply mails. Verify payment. Youtube. JuiceMarket stuff. Eat 2 biscuits. Laze around. From 12nn -6.30pm?

And i decided that life at home should get a bit more interesting so i whipped out my make up and clothes and play dress up! Yay, not?

I just wanted to try a different make up look and i never really dare to do it when i go out cos i'm afraid i'd look like thrash. So yes, i put on my falsies without eyeliner at all and wiped on some chanel red sample lipstick which i got quite sometime ago. Decided to try the front braided thing on my forehead and my sister's fake brown ponytail too!! (: Hahaha honestly, it was quite fun.

No one really know, but i had always wanted nice long straight brown/red ponytail with all my fringe up.

how do i look? i quite like it and i'm more determined to keep my hair long already(:

i swore to myself that i'll not work after working at candle last year cos i really hate being ordered around and working within certain restrictions/constraints. I swear i hate it but i'm damnnnnnnnnnn broke now and i need $$$ very badly. I transferred $xxx to a wrong account and now end up i need to use juicemarket's money to pay for bkk hotel, and juice account now is only left with $xx. Damn pathetic. Cannot buy new stocks, cannot launch collection---> no money for bangkok. I'm going there in less than 3 weeks' time and i have $0 for my expenses there so i neeed to work. Sighhh ): never felt so stressed for so long.

Hopefully after i come back from bkk, things for juicemarket will take a turn. I wanna change the website layout to be nicer and more organised, make the photos nicer and more professional, bring in nicer and more exclusive clothes yadadada but i need $$$ and a lot of help now ): in fact, i want a fresh face to model for juicemarket too cos i'm damn sian of looking at my own face. I cannot pose for nuts and i'm not like those pretty hot models with nice body and flawless complexion etc etc.

Oh wells ): sorry for ranting. This period of time, just sucks for me now. I just wanna go bkk with D asap, with cash of course!): i kinda want to ask my family for money but noo, i feeeeel damn bad cos mummy has already given me enough. AHHHH stressballzzz stressballzz.

On a side note, went to cailing's house on fri night and headed to bosco's house together for rico's birthday party! (: it really felt awesome to see old friends again etc etc. Saturday was spent with fiona vera angelyn at watami for lunch, and D surprised me with ice cream at night. Sunday was spent at jurong point starbucks doing juicemarket stuff and surfing fb while waiting for D's lunch break. (: Nice weekend!

I like taking long walks because it gets me thinking. I like night breeze to air conditioned rooms because i like the tranquility it gives. I'd rather sit at the outdoor starbucks area and sip of my favourite caramel frap then to sit in a cold hard room. I believe that love exists, but i don't believe in forever/always because the only constant is change. I believe in people, believe that everyone is good natured just that they succumb to evil/wrongdoings under certain circumstances. Don't get me wrong, i don't love everyone. That'd be a chore, and it might take my lifetime doing that. I only love certain people and i really hope you know who you are. If i used to say i love you and no longer say it anymore... trust me that i still love you in some way or another. Circumstances might have changed, we may no longer be friends or lovers but i still love you for what you had been in my life and i'll be eternally grateful for the vital role you had played.

I like coffee and tea, fruits and juices, small bites and pastas. I have a major softspot for gummy sweets, chocolates and desserts. I have a after-meal tendency, which is a change of taste. If i take laksa for dinner, i want some icy cold desserts after that to change the laksa taste. If it was fish & chips, i'd probably crave for chocolate ice cream after that. Aglio Olio then chocolate souffle or pinna cotta. Evidently, my life is incomplete without food. I'd prefer chilling out at a bar than getting sweaty in a club. I prefer long deep conversations to the beat of R&B. I believe that destiny is ours to create, future is ours to mould. I detest the sight of seeing someone just leeching on their parents' money or reputation. It puts me off to no end. I am not a talkative/people person since young. I'd be reading a book on a couch in a corner while my cousins play, and till now i hardly talk a lot whoever i am with. I like my own space, being in a little bubble doing my own things listening to my own playlist. If i feel that you're asking me a stupid question, i won't even hesitate to reply. If you're talking to me about something on a different level which i feel is undeserving of any response, that'd be what you're getting. I tend to look up when i walk, and people think i'm cocky. But... it's because i get too engrossed looking at things on top, like the sky the building the aeroplanes. Or maybe sometimes i'm too consumed in my own thoughts i look like i don't give two shits about the surrounding. I know, i know.. that i send off a bad vibe. A cocky, arrogant, fierce, bitchy vibe. No i'm not making these up, it's all from my friends' first impression which has changed over time. I really wish i had a friendlier face and a nicer smile because i really don't think i'm cocky or any sort, substantiated by my friends too. However, there are things which can light up a smile on my face. Carousel ride, snow, dogs, babies or toddlers, music, sweets/chocolates, just seeing my close friends. A garden of flowers will do the job too, not a bouquet or a stalk. Taking a shower instantly cools me down too, taking long walks alone at night or sitting somewhere by myself staring up into the starry sky calms my soul too.

Anger for me might not be so bad a thing, because i work best when i'm angry.

So, how much do you think you know me? These are just 1/1000 of me, and the rest of me remains a puzzle unsolved. Sometimes, i myself can't even unravel mysteries about myself. But i guess that's what makes life interesting... is that more often than not, there are things about ourselves that we aren't even aware of.

I'mma put an abrupt end to this entry.

There's a sudden outburst of emotion after a strange night of talking to D about people antics and life. I can comprehend yet unable to tolerate the ways of life sometimes, how superficial it can get and how some people can treat life like a cheap piece of wood.

Inevitable it is, it's annoying how people are almost entirely moulded by the environment they are in and the people they hang out with. I don't mean to sound self-righteous, so pardon me if i do at any point of time. I honestly detest the sight of seeing someone i know who was a nice little angel morph into someone who's completely different from whom i knew she/he was. I remember this being the reason why a certain close friend of mine and i falling out.

People who are nice, simple, genuine, sincere, have self-respect, and are selfless ; someone who just stands out in the crowd in a non-superficial way. I really like people who are like that, and i'm sure many others do too even sometimes we ourselves don't have such attributes. And sometimes, when people like that are fed with unhealthy attention or try to be someone who can blend in better with the supposedly "cool" crowd, they morph into someone who may be always be in the limelight in people's eyes but no longer touch humans' hearts. Saddening, no?

Why can't we just appreciate being ourselves, being what god has given to us? Why can't we embrace who we really are, beings that people first fell in love with and will not fall out of it? I just abhor how fame and attention can totally change someone. I know it's inevitable for some slight changes and that's perfectly fine, but when you look at a friend with still the same face but no longer shining from inside like how he/she used to... yknow that it's not fine at all.

Like i said, we do not even own traits we like in others... so i'm just saying.

On a brighter note, i had a wonderful day with D just watching law abiding citizens, having dinner+icecream+grape vinegar juice+jagabee, and having htht in the dark.

We can all say that we have many friends, but how many are real friends who will stick with you through thick and thin? or have impacted your life in any way, little or great, that they still hold a special place in your life even after years of not talking or drifting apart? Or, have you ever hurt a friend so much that the friendship ended and you know you have no one to blame but yourself?

I miss some friends. Friends whom i've drifted apart from, friends who have impacted my life and friends who moulded my life to be what it is. Friends whom i knew since young, friends who have stood by me when things looked doom. Friends who are still close to me, i miss yall too cos i can never get enough of yall. Friends who love me with their heart, and not their eyes. Friends who exchange my piece of love for them with sincerity.

I hope you know who you all are. In fact, if it even hit you that it could be you that i'm talking about, it must be you because it must have been that we have impacted each other's life before or now that you can feel my words with truth and depth. I'm sorry if i never really showed y'all how much i care, it's not that i don't but ... i just can't express myself well with people. I can't look at you and put a string of words into your ears and expect to knit us closer together. i like to keep my feelings in a little organ and i know it's wrong to hold this belief, but i believe that it's sufficient that i myself know that you mean a lot to me because you really do. I do not say i love you to just anyone to just any friend, i do not send nice messages to just anyone, and i will not think about you and pen this down if you're not even a close/good friend. Everyone has superficial friendship(i mean hi-bye friends), so do i... but i do not believe that i should feed any love into such friendships. Neither do i believe in befriending someone to reap benefits out of it.

So when i say i love you, i really do my [dear] friends.

On an extremely random note,

i went to the dog farm yesterday afternoon with D and my family. Geez, why are puppies so cute and when can i ever have one? ): I really want a golden retriever or a toy poodle. Damn.

And today, i went for facial at pandan valley(my first time there cos my previous facial therapist stopped doing facial) anddd...OUCH TO MY FACE AND POCKET. she say i need to go back in 3 weeks later for second round cos my skin condition now is rather bad /:

Chinese new year this year's kinda boring. I don't know, everything seems too commercialised for my liking. I don't get to spend my angpow money this year for some reasons so oh wells. Hahah i need to save damn hard for bangkok trip so i can spend like crazy there ^^ now come out one more europe trip that's postponed from october last year. Hahah not confirmed, but mummy wants to go this april! I got no $$$ for that nowwwww so i don't wanna go, but i wanna wear my blue h&m boots ): haven't worn it since i bought it from hongkong.

Sigh i just realised that it's already past my one year warranty for my nikon camera!!! ): i shouldn't have procrastinated urghhhh! Should i spend the money to repair the cracked lcd screen and shifted lens or should i just save up a bit more to get a new camera! Sighhhh shitty feeling again. I'm having a mental battlefied now. There are so many things too much thoughts racing through my mind now, weighing out the consequences and future possibilities of the steps we took. I know be it foolish or for a better good, the choice has somewhat already been made and the verdict is out. But, is it the right choice? I'm dying questioning myself and not being able to find an answer that puts my mind at ease.

I wish i could see you now because right now, i choose to believe you're my remedy. Even for awhile, it's good enough.

I've been very moody and angsty lately. Sigh, i really wanna get out of this shithole.

Anyways, met up with bosco jee cailing and rico on friday for dinner and to watch rico perform at wisma indochine. He never fails to awe us with his voice. And the duet he had with the 9 years old girl was just sweeet.

Y'know how i used to detest clubbing, now it feels weird to say "i want to club" or something along that line. I used to detest(ok maybe it's too strong a word) clubbing because from what i heard/seen, people always go to clubs with a sole intention of getting drunk and hooking up with a 2nd,3rd degree friends or sometimes worse... a complete stranger. Even till now, i still despise such acts and will never endorse such behaviour myself. I mean, why cheapen yourself? Both guys and girls. Yess.. guys included. I hate how people stereotype girls who have casual sex a slut, then guys who have casual sex a player(which is not that bad a term in this society).

I DON'T AGREE? Both gender who have casual sex are equally bad. I'm sorry if your conscience is hanging midway now or i hit a spot in you... but i'm not directing to anyone in particular.

So yes, back to the main point. Many people up till now still go to clubs to get drunk/hook up/drown their sorrows and the next day experience a bad hangover. Are your problems solved? Are you really happier? Does hooking up with someone make you feel more loved than you were or does it make you feel even more disgusted with yourself?

So, i guess my standpoint is still rather firm about reasons why SOME people go clubbing. I'm not saying all, which is why i still go once in awhile cos of the music dance friend's birthdays and girlfriends.

Sunday saw me finishing up bcomm powerpoint slides, and nostalgic night with D. (: i am so in love with coffee and no matter how hard i try to curb my caffeine addiction, it seems to backfire on me. Caramel frap is my favourite in both sb and coffeebean, followed by hot cappuccino. Yummz, just talking about it makes me crave for one now.

Y'know how technology has advanced over the years making communication so much easier and more convenient for people like us. For people who are so busy with what seems important. Iphone, emails, msn, bbm, and different kinds of application are forms of communication which we all use almost every 15mins to half an hour. Technology brings us closer through words, but drifts us apart physically. What is xoxo in a text compared to real hugs & kisses, what's "i love you" without looking at the person's facial expression and body language, what's a long wordy email of appreciation or gratefulness compared to an embrace or handshake. You get my drift.

How good it is to sms your bestfriend "i'll always be there for you" when you can just be beside him/her physically lending them your shoulder to cry on and not whisper a single word. I prefer the latter. Think about it... would you want the whole world to text you happy birthday or would you rather just a bunch of close friends to spend quality time with you.

You love a person, you go the extra mile for him/her. You don't just sit there type a few strings of words expecting to melt a heart or heal a broken soul. Boredom kills? Sure it does. Supposed to meet alistair today but he's sickkk so i'mma meet jiayi and isaac instead later! I can't stay homeee and do nothing(or rather attempt to study) it's just killing me. I haven't been taking many pictures with my camera cos i don't know, too lazy or i just look bad? Many of you can tell that i put on weight right... it's disgusting. Hahah. I wanna be skin and bones ^^ but i hate dieting cos i love eating.

Juice Market online has been so dead for the longest time ever and i feel so so so bad i swear! I'm stopping operations at best of blogshops soon, so i can concentrate fully on the online store and not let y'all down. Next week (sunday, 7th feb)is gonna be juicemarket's last week at far east plaza so head on down and help me clear things! hehehe would appreciate it.

It's funny how life is crafted in such a simple way and how human race complicate it when things are as true as it seem to be. It's beyond reasonable explanation why God placed us in a family yet sometimes we all can't even get along, it's funny how bad things happen, you're still grateful they did despite how hurt you were because, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. It's funny how you thought your future was planned with intelligence, but you end up going against it because yknow life isn't all about being predictable. Met vera and angel last night(in hope to go for kirk's birthday thingum, but ended up not going cos it was a bit late already sorry twin!). Had dinner at la mian xlb... yummerz!

Then we sat down at spinelli to chittyx2 bangx2! We had a lot of weird/funny topics. I miss those times, these good ol days and i hope we all can find more time to meet up more often!

It was incomplete though. I wish things could go back to how it was 2 years ago. Some left, some is leaving, and some other things... are better left unsaid. I know very long ago that things will never be back to how it was... so i really do hold on tightly to whatever that's left of all of us. Sigh nvm.

Happy new year (??)

I don't want to be cliche and go about saying how sucky 2009 was and how good i think 2010 will be, and go into every small detail how 2009 has changed my life etc because think about it, every year feels the same. There's no need for new year's resolution to be penned down, cos you'll end up looking back tsk-ing yourself in disappointment. If you really want to start a fresh new chapter in your life, there's no need for an entry of a brand new year because they're just a gauge of days and time. If you have a resolution, a dream, an aspiration, a goal, then start working towards it now and don't give yourself a year to fulfil it. Just give yourself the amount of time you think you should fulfil it, not the amount you feel is a right closure to it.

I've always looked at life as a journey of lesson, every obstacle and setback as a stepping stone to becoming a stronger person, and every blessing as good memories. I don't know why i'm getting started on sheng, neither do i know how to but i'll jump straight to the point. The biggest blow to me throughout the year was not the break up, but it was the point i knew things could no longer be salvaged and break up seemed like the only solution. We had been through so much more than anyone could ever imagine, and i hate how people often jump to conclusion or draw judgements just by what they see or heard. I thought love was shared and connected by two people only and only we feel/understand fully what's going on. If you think by reading my blog, by being our friends or even relatively good friends, or by believing what you hear from others about us, that's probably just 1/100 of what you know or maybe none at all? People always said we looked cute/sweet together, and no doubt about that to a certain extent. But how much do y'all know when we had our bad times? when both of us cried our lungs out together? when we quietly went on a short break? when we had the same problem coming back again and again? We've never really told anyone(including good friends), much less write anything on my blog. And that's because i've always felt that love was sparked by two people, so let the ups and downs good or bad be shared by just these two special people.

Future is believing, and i believed. We both held on tight for three years no matter how doomed things could look. We died, revived died revived but for a long while... we died. I won't say what exactly happened or why we broke up cos i believe he still command a high degree of respect and privacy. Neither do i like cyber eyes to pry too much. So well, all i can say is that we both loved greatly but sometimes we can't be fed solely on love. commitment, mutual trust, faithfulness, compromising etc. They are components that form a happy relationship and i guess we were lacking a few. It was both his and my fault that things turned out this way, but i'm glad both of us are still friends now and we've moved on.

I loved you very much sheng, and i'm thankful for all that we were for the past three years. I wish you well, with all my heart. And yknow i will still hold your back as much as i can. You're a great character, and i believe you can be strong like an eagle - take flight and find a better nest or just take a rest.

I'mma cut down my junk food intake as well as a little of my carbo intake. Hahah cos i'm putting weight at the speed of lightttt and my face is growing fatter > don't like. I know i'm not fat, i just wanna be skinnier.
